Organisers Report:
With the weather changing day by day heading towards my TREC, this not only causes problems with plotting the route but also my husband like all the other farmers around was stressing about how or when he will get the harvest in. It was a little worry as the local farmer said he would be harvesting potatoes across the roads that we would be having to use, but in a strange way because it rained it meant they could not work, so better for us !!. The only difference of running an event away from home is that if you forget something at home you just run inside, but when away you do a lot of running about, poor old Anita (TD) with the computer cable that would not work, Charlie’s cable would not work either, so Anita took everything back to her home to sort out all the paperwork on the Monday.
It was nice to see so many supporting my TREC , and with a really nice venue and a lot of bridleways around, I still have all the Bingo balls and book so we can always do another game any time, perhaps at the awards night !!
The Hog roast was superb, Jason is quite happy to do hog roasts at parties etc, and we thank Sams Gran , Bev for making those lovely dolls and of course everyone he gave up their time to make this TREC happen at all.
£260.00 has been sent to Help for Hero’s. I thank everybody for being so patient for getting the results out but hopefully you all should have received them by now.
